Things has not been doing well for me. Value investing is dead.

My Portfolio year to date is -0.63% vs the Philippine Index 4.06% at the time of this writing. I have nothing to say but its getting harder to invest. I’m just accumulating cash right now and not doing anything. There are quite a few cheap companies out there right now, surely you can find something that’s worth your fancy. I’m just upping my standards as of this moment.

How to invest in the US Stock Market (I use this service)
The US stock portfolio is actually looking good. Because of the increase in value of DIS and FTDR, my current US portfolio is up by 26% vs the SP500 index of 23%. REZI is a lagger, but I don’t mind much.

There is no change with the real estate portfolio. I have been looking around at my area hoping to find some real estate deals. But it seems to be getting harder to find deals too. Because of the interest rate cut, I think it got even harder because people are bidding up prices. There’s also an influx of newbie investors into the market. Hoping to get their feet into the game (at least in my area). I don’t know, its usually a bad sign.
I have no choice but to hold on to cash right now. My eyes are still open though.

Why are you holding cash right now, is it an opportunity right now to buy companies because of there new 52 week low almost everyday?
There are a lot of opportunities right now. I’m just holding cash waiting for the really great ones.
